Marketing Officer – Dundee based

WRIGHT Foundation are market leaders in Level 3 Exercise Referral training and Level 4 Specialist courses to the Sport, Leisure and Healthcare industries. We are currently looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our team.

You will be responsible for the implementation of our marketing strategy, increasing sales of key products and expanding our customer and partnership databases to further enhance the effectiveness of all our communications. You will be proactive, have excellent communication skills, be able to work with minimal supervision, a strong track record in managing campaigns, the customer sales journey and have significant experience with social media platforms in a business context.

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Business and/or Marketing
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing sales strategies with a significant marketing element within set timescales
  • Demonstrable ability to develop successful partnerships and relationships
  • Working with the public/business in roles requiring good customer care
  • Experience of digital content development (including other forms of media)
  • Experience of social media monitoring tools, analytics and web-editing packages
  • Experience of conducting primary research, monitoring and evaluation of projects
  • Knowledge, interest and empathy for sport and physical activity
Desirable Requirements:

  • Have completed a recognised vocational qualification (e.g. CIM/CIPR) in Marketing, PR, or Communications
  • Have completed a recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in Sport & Leisure development / management
  • Industry recognised qualifications in exercise, physical activity or health

WRIGHT Foundation Lecturers in Level 3 and Level 4 Training

Due to the demand for Level 3 Exercise Referral and Level 4 Specialist courses we are looking to expand our pool of lecturers to join us in the expansion of the WRIGHT Foundation in the UK and Internationally. The position best suits Sport and Exercise Science/Medicine specialists with a fitness and/or rehabilitation background.

Your normal place of work will be at locations across the United Kingdom (inc. Northern Ireland.) However, you may be required to work overseas (English language courses only) occasionally as and when required.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum Bsc (Hons) in Sport, Exercise Science/Medicine or Physical Activity for Health
  • Fitness industry recognised qualifications in exercise, physical activity or health in at least one of the key topic areas e.g. Cardiac / Cancer Rehabilitation, etc
  • A recognised assessor qualification or willingness to work towards within a specified timescale
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and developing academic agility in support of the business and its customers.
  • Experience of supporting others’ learning through teaching at degree or post-graduate study level
  • An appreciation of how adults learn and an appreciation of study skills
